In-Meeting Tours

Online Tours Sign-ups are now closed; Any remaining tour spots will be available for sign up at the conference registration desk on Monday, September 12 on a first-come, first-served basis.

This year’s Solanaceae Conference attendees will have the opportunity to choose from these arranged tours and visits in and around the UC Davis campus area:

I     • Tomato Genetics Resource Center Field Plot and Pepper Diversity Plot (both at UC Davis) (Tour is full; Wait-list available)
II   • HM.Clause Field Commercial Breeding Facility:
III  • Monsanto Phenotyping and Genotyping Lab and Greenhouse Facility (Tour is full; Wait-list available)
IV  • Organic Farm and Commercial Full-Scale Conventional Farm tours
V    • Processing Pilot Plant at UC Davis (Tour cancelled due to low enrollment)
VI  • Commercial Processor, Vacaville, CA USA (Tour cancelled due to low enrollment)
VII • Commercial Processor, Williams, CA USA
Bus transportation will be provided for any tours that are not within walking distance of the conference center.

Those registered for the conference will receive a link to the conference tours sign-up online form.
